Legality of Marijuana Use in the Interpretation of Constitutional Court Decision No. 106/PUU-XVIII/2020

Abstract
This research examines the Constitutional Court Decision Number 106/PUU-XVII/2020 regarding the legalization of marijuana for medical purposes. Using a normative approach through case studies, regulations, conceptualization, comparisons and cases, this research aims to analyze the application of legal norms in practice. The results concluded that marijuana remains categorized as a Class I narcotic and is not permitted for medical treatment. The author highlights the importance of continued research by the government as a basis for forming new policies regarding the use of medical marijuana in the future.
